Orbea designed the Gain to boost your riding experience into high gear while still managing to blend in with the crowd. Its e-bike system is modern, integrated, and sleek. Gain embraces your sweat and hard work and works in unison with your efforts to tick off the miles. Distractions have been minimized so it's just you, your bike, and the hours ahead. The battery is typically one of the most noticeable components of an e-bike system, so Orbea took every step to find the lightest, smallest, and most discreet system available. The idea is to provide you with enough battery power, but not more. This eliminates the need for a bulky, high-output battery that needs to be removed from the bike. Orbea calls this concept "Enough Energy", and it's at the core of the Gain's design. The result is an exceptionally lightweight, sporty, and rideable bike—a machine that heeds the call of the open road. The heart of the Gain is the pedal-assist rear hub motor, which monitors your pedaling input and adjusts power accordingly. This sophisticated drive system provides smooth and reliable assistance at levels designed to enhance your ride, not dominate it. And since the motor is at the hub, you’ll experience drag-free pedaling when Gain is not providing a push. Gain’s control center is the iWoc ONE—a simple, attractive, and discreet button integrated into the top tube. It allows you to power the system on or off, check motor assist levels, and view the remaining battery charge. The button's colored LED lighting puts all the information you need right at your fingertips. Recharging the system is a breeze—the CAN (Controller Area Network) port on the downtube provides a single interface for charging, system diagnosis, or attaching an external backup battery. The Gain F30 is capable of many different types of riding, happily adapting to gravel, road, or commuting. It's got clearance for large tires (up to 40c), the ability to mount accessories like racks and fenders, and a versatile All-Road geometry. A reliable Shimano Claris drivetrain, powerful hydraulic disc brakes, and puncture-resistance tires add to its capability and enjoyment.
